This exhibition celebrates and shines a light on the creativity of the staff at University Hospitals Birmingham.
In partnership with the Midlands Arts Centre, we also hosted hands-on, accessible classes to inspire more colleagues to explore art as a way to support wellbeing.
Our colleagues work hard. Art can be one medium to help staff re-energise and maintain their wellbeing.
Many of our colleagues are secretly talented artists. We have held this exhibition to celebrate their individual brilliance and to share this proudly in their place of work.
To encourage other colleagues to get involved, we also organised accessible art classes in collaboration with The Midlands Art Centre. In total 8 classes were held at the MAC, allowing staff to engage in pottery, stitching & felting, sketching and singing. These were a great success and some of their work can be seen on the website!
Below are some of the submissions we received from our colleagues.
